Most mattresses are between 10”-12” thick so patterns are based on 11” thick mattresses.  For Cal King, King, Queen and Full beds, patterns are based on 88/90” wide fabric.  For Twin and Twin XL beds, patterns are based on 58/60” wide fabric.  Because Cuddle stretches width wise, the fit will be adjusted by the size of the pockets and amount of elastic.  Trust the process.  Pockets for the Kings are slightly smaller than the others to accommodate the amount of stretch we are asking the fabric to give us.

Note** for sizes Queen and smaller only, If the mattress is thicker than 11”, increase the square cut size by 1” for each 1” difference in mattress thickness – e.g. 12” mattress would require 15” square, 13” thick mattress would require a 16” square.   

•          Cal King 84L x 72W – Cut material 111” long by WOF (using 88/90” wideback) Cut  13.5” square from each corner for the pockets.  Cut elastic 160” long.
•          King  80L  x 76W  - Cut material 107” long by WOF (using 88/90” wideback) Cut  13.5” square from each corner for the pockets.  Cut elastic 160” long
•          Queen 80L  x 60W  - Cut material 108” long by WOF (using 88/90” wideback) Cut  14” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 144” long
•          Full 75L x 54W  - Cut material 103” long by 82” (using 88/90” wideback) Cut  14” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 133” long

•          Twin XL 80L x 39W  Cut material 108” long by WOF (using standard 58-60” width Cuddle) Cut  14” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 122” long
•          Twin 75L x 39W  Cut material 103”00 long by WOF (using standard 58-60” width Cuddle) Cut  14” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 117” long

 Note** Baby bedding patterns are based on most commonly used mattress thickness dimensions.  If mattress is thicker or thinner than noted in the pattern, adjust the size of the cut square up or down by 1” for each 1” difference in mattress thichness.  E.g. if crib mattress is 5” cut your square 8”.  If crib mattress is 7” cut your square 10”

Baby Bedding

•          Standard Crib 52L x 28W x 6” thick. Cut material 70” long by 46” wide.  Cut  9” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 76” long
•          Mini Crib 38L x 24W  x 3” thick.  Cut material 50” long by 36” wide.  Cut  6” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 62” long
•          Pack N Play 40L x 28W x 2” thick.  Cut material 50” long by 38” wide.  Cut  5” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 68” long
•          Changing Pad  31L x 17W x 3” thick.  Cut material 43” long by 29” wide.  Cut  6” square from each corner for the pockets. Cut elastic 48” long
