Rope Bowls - Sunday, April 14 11:30 am

In class, participants will learn how to make a bowl with a motif fabric on the base and intermittently wrapped rope up the sides - refer to the "dala horse" shop sample.
NECESSARY SUPPLIES
- sewing machine with zig-zag function
- jean or universal needles
- rope (at least 30 feet of 3/16", diamond-braided cotton rope)
- 1/4 yd motif fabric - quilting cotton, batik, flannel are all ok. (You may also want an accent color around base & at top of bowl.)
- coordinating thread
- glue stick (I use Elmer's Craft Bond, but any glue stick that dries clear will work.)
- scissors
- mat, rotary cutter, straight edge ruler
OPTIONAL SUPPLIES
(Not necessary, but if you have them at home just throw them in your supply bag.)
- free motion gloves
- purple thang, stiletto, other pointy tools
- darning foot
- frixion pen
- invisible thread
- decorative button or beads with at least 1/4" hole
