NEWS:  

Big news in Blackduck.  As many of you may have heard, we are under new ownership.  During Spring of 2021, one of our customers purchased the stock of Anderson Fabrics.

The great news is this has little impact on our retail store, we will still be your source for fabric and quilting supplies, while offering the best customer service. 

Our Manufacturing plant will be focusing on production of custom draperies, shades, and cornices, which we can still offer to our wonderful outlet customers.

If you haven’t stopped into the store lately, we have rearranged  the store to showcase all our great Fabrics! Our friendly staff is here to help you find fabrics for that special project you want to create.

We have three Virtual Classes in the works for February and March.  Jackie Hillman, a Shannon Fabrics Instructor will work with us online via Zoom, we have used her several times and Love her teaching.  Great way to get comfortable sewing with Cuddle.  

Classes are just $5.oo

February 16th  is the Hooded Towel Zoom class from 6-8pm

February 23rd is the Cuddle Sac Class from 6-8 pm

March 23rd is the Self-binding Blanket from 6-8pm

Block of the
month: 

April 2nd we will start a Kim Diehl Block of the Month.  Riverside Knoll is a six-part series featuring classic patchwork blocks and applique motifs loved by generations of quiltmakers. Block of the Month includes the pattern and Right as Rain fabric for the 62.5" x 62.5" quilt top and binding.

Program runs from March 2022 to August 2022. We will meet at the store to work with you as you create this quilt, meeting the first of each month.  

Price is $29.98 plus shipping per month for six months. 

Charm Club  meets the second Tuesday of each month at 6pm in the store, 4pm on Facebook Live

 We are on Facebook Live. We welcome newcomers, it is a great way to meet new people with common interests. We will be Facebook Live at 4pm   If you comment on the feed, your name will be put in a drawing for that night.  We will try to post pictures of Show and tell in the comments page, after we meet.  The noise level wasn’t working for us, so we are trying this.  If you watch us online, you can still get 20% off one time purchase the week of club.  See new fabrics, We try to have a free project, for the month.  Check us out on Facebook.  

Our Table runner of the month class is using Trendy Table 3, an Anka’s Treasures book.  You can sew at the store, usually, on the third Saturday of the month, this month because of classes it will be on the second Saturday.   We have been having fun with this group.  We are doing all the patterns from the Trendy Table 3 Book.

  Clare has been working  with a 4H club that has done beginning sewing classes.  They made Infinity Scarves from Shannon Cuddle Fabrics, It was so fun to see the kids create the scarves with a little help from parents and Clare.  We have already scheduled another class with this group.  If you have a group that would like to sew a project, contact the store. We will work with you to create a beginning sewing experience for your group.
