Where has the summer gone?

August went by so fast! Quilt Minnesota was here, and then gone. Fall is creeping up on us and we are still wanting it to be summer. I hope you check us out on Facebook. We did a shop tour video. I am no professional at taking video's but we are doing our best to keep up with the world of online presence. We want to let you know we are still your small town shop, we are making changes as necessary and you can see some of our store on our video tour on our facebook page. We are busy making samples of the new lines as they come in. We have a lot to show at club this week.
Christmas/Fall and Outdoor fabrics have come in. Everything is just so fun to touch. We have some new cuddle on order coming next month. As well as Cuddle Classes scheduled. These are online through Zoom, and the class is only $5. The first class will be a cuddle Sheet. (and they are not just for cribs) Jackie our instructor tells me that they are so soft, and NOT Warm, so you can even use them in the summer. You can make them for even a queen size bed. National Jelly Roll Day is coming September 17th. We have ordered some special jelly rolls from Island Batik for this event! We will have a special sale on Saturday to recognize this day. If you can't make it into the store, check us out online on Saturday!

Classes:

Charm Club meets Sept 13th, the second Tuesday of Each month. We do Facebook Live, at 4pm, Meet in the store at 6 pm. Your choice which to attend. If you comment on the feed, your name will be put in a drawing for the 6 month basket prize. Show and Tell will be added in a separate post. UFO/UFP due this month. If you watch us online, you can get 20% off one time purchase the week of the club. Code is told during the FB Live. See new fabrics, We try to have a free project for the month. Cushion Class: We have asked Toni from the plant to teach a class on cushions or pillows. We no longer do cushions in our plant, many people call for someone to do this for them, you might want to learn the technique and try your hand at making cushions. It will be Saturday, October 8th, Let us know if you are interested. Or Check out our classes tab on the web page.

Outlet Drapery Fabrics: We have received some new fabric from our workroom in Blackduck. We are adding that to our Drapery are upstairs in our middle room. These fabrics are $10/yard. In our backroom fabric bolts are still $4.50 a yard. Our basement has Drapery Bolts that are $3.50 a bolt for 3 yds or less, bigger bolts are $5 a bolt. (Many of the bolts from this summer in the backroom are now in the basement) There is a lot to choose from. We also have bags of solid color drapery fabrics in the basement for $3.50. There are some beautiful fabrics there, come check it out!

Cuddle Classes Coming:  We have ordered more cuddle and set up more online classes for the fall.
Jackie is a great teacher online, She teaches via Zoom and we also set up the store for classes in house if you wish Clare will be there with you and help you through the class. We have fun doing it this way, but you can always join us online if you are not local. Here are the classes we have planned:
  Cuddle Sheet Class: October 5th Wednesday from 6-9
  Santa Belly Pillow: October 19th Wednesday from 6-9 this one we learn to put a zipper in with cuddle fabric.
  another class:   November 2, Wednesday from 6-9   I am hoping for a cuddle slipper class, I have not decided as of yet. Let me know if you need something specific.
