All MN Quilt Shop Hop: Recap 

WOW! What fun to meet so many shop hoppers in the last two months.  Believe it or not, we have already seen the fabric for next years hop! It is a fun MN outdoor look that should appeal to many people! We have drawn for the  prizes for our shop:  Linda Almlie, Richard Whitney, Helenruth Schulte are our winners.    Winners will be notified with a phone call. 

The Headwaters Quilt Guild of Bemidji will hold its regular monthly meeting on Tues June 6 at 6pm at A Stitch in Time, downtown Bemidji.

Special guest speaker and teacher for this month will be Heather Mulder Peterson, nationally known quilt and fabric designer.  She started her quilt design company, Anka’s Treasures in 1996 as a college student.   Mulder - Peterson is well known all over the USA for her fun, fresh modern designs.

There will be a $10 charge for nonmembers.

If you want to become a member it is Prorated $12 for the first year. ($20 per year membership fee)

She will be teaching a class “Tango” Wed, June 7th (9 am -12:30) For more information contact Sue Keimig at 651.343.1055.

Minnesota Quilters Inc, Quilt Show, Thursday,  June15th in St. Cloud. The cost is $70, this includes entry into the quilt show.  The convention center has food vendors.  We will leave Blackduck at 7am, make a stop in Bemidji, then leave the show at 6pm.  If you are interested, you can go online and reserve your seat in the Classes portion of our website. Shop Closed End of June

Monday - Wed June 26-28th The shop will be closed.  We will be open Thursday through Saturday, then closed again, Monday-Tuesday July 3-4th for the 4th of July Holiday.

Charm Club:   

Charm Club meets June 13th,  the second Tuesday of Each month. We drew number 1 for the UFO club members. This is due in July.  You can watch us on Facebook Live,  at 4pm, or meet in the store at 6 pm.  Your choice which to attend.   If you comment on the feed, your name will be put in a drawing for the 6 month basket prize.   If you watch us online, you can get 20% off one time purchase the week of the club. From our Shoppers:  Culice brought in her Laura Heine Bear collage.  It has been fun working with her.  Clare is working on a Paul Bunyan collage class for July.  Watch club for a picture of this.  

It isn't too early for us to be thinking about our next Block of the Month. We have committed to doing Wing and a Prayer "Arabella" with Tonga Batiks from Timeless Treasures.  From the Palest of greens to the deepest of blues, the 10 piece Tonga Arabella collection features the colors of precious Jewels, including sapphires, rubies and aquamarines.  The 108" square quilt uses traditional piecing techniques.   If this interests you, let us know.  More information will come this summer!

 Our basement has SALES on both sides!  Quilt fabric is 30-50% off and drapery fabric is always on sale!  Basement bolts are $3.00/ $5.00 / or $10.00   Upstairs the bolts are $4.50/yd for any bolts with less than six yards on them. Other bolts are $10/yd. We are VERY full of drapery fabric and more to put out.  Come check us out.
