Happy Sweetheart Month!

“Happy Over the Hump” winter month… Usually we figure half of our winter is over by February. Not this year, I bet. We have had a mild winter with very little snow. January flew by and February is a short month… so it will fly by also. It still is a good time to sew! Our employees got together and sewed a Haralson fanny pack bag this month. A first time project for Aunika, and a good learning experience for those who participated. (We used drapery remnant fabrics for many parts of the bag) Most of us are stepping outside our box and trying new things with the bag sewing.

Charm Club: Charm Club meets the second Tuesday of each month.

2024 Kona Calendar BOM: We’ve started our Kona Calender BOM. It is fun to see all the creations, and we are just in block 1. Several of us have the Accuquilt system and we are trying the blocks with that tool. Very fun and very precise. We are out of Calendars but the link to the BOM is still on our website. We are sewing the February block February 15th (the third Thursday of each month) at 1pm. Yes, just 2 days after club. Look at some of the blocks from month one, so cute! Most of us are using up fabric from our stash, using the same colorways as the calendar.
