Anderson Fabrics April 2024 Newsletter
March looks like it is going out like a Lion! Hope you are handling the snow, if you got some... Here in Blackduck we are shoveling out from some 10 inches or so, at the time of this newsletter writing. We are not complaining, hopefully it is full of moisture. We have been busy making samples and cutting kits. Hopefully, you like what you see when you browse our website, facebook or come into the store. We open up baskets and just ooh and aah!
There are some fun things coming up! The All Minnesota Shop Hop starts in April, The Minnesota Quilt show is in Duluth this year, that is in June. Quilt Minnesota is the end of July and most of August. That fabric should be able to be pre-ordered by the end of the week in our website. It's not here yet, and can't go out unitl July 28th, but if you like something... you might want to pre-order.

The Shop Hop Starts SOON! April1- May 31st
Magazines for the Hop are at the store, they are $11.95
We have the two cuddle fabrics that go along with the fabric.
We will be open TWO Sundays April 14th and April 21st noon -5pm
New Kits: We have been hard at work cutting kits and making samples. The following pictures are just a sampling of what is available. As always, check us out on Facebook. We usually show the new kits when they are ready. 
Classes:
Rope Bowls: Sunday, April 14th
11:30 am until close. $30
In class, participants will learn how to make a bowl with a motif fabric on the base and intermittently wrapped rope up the sides - refer to the "dala horse" shop sample.
This class is taught by Kris Hopko
Rub off Class with Lisa: Cost $25
Wednesday May 1st 10-4pm
Have a favorite shirt or pants that you'd like to copy? Bring it in and Lisa will help you make a remake. (Some clothing construction knowledge recommended) Call with item idea before attending class. Supplies needed: Pencil & Pens, scissors, tissue paper, longer ruler/tape measure, sewing machine.
Charm Club: Charm Club meets the second Tuesday of each month.
