Happy August, 

We plan to be open through August, the rest is to be determined.  We are actively looking for a buyer for the shop, and have been informed there is some activity, fingers crossed! In the meantime, we are keeping busy creating new kits from our many bolts of fabric in the store.  And having some fun with it as well! Check further in the newsletter to see our creations. 

We’ve asked Jean Hopko to teach a few classes in August. Check those out below.

We have our calendar on Facebook.  And have updated our dates open/closed on google as well.   We don’t mind you calling to check our hours either.  We will continue to be closed on Mondays. But are trying to find a few Saturday’s for you as well.  

We appreciate everyone’s concern for the store. We, the employees, are dedicated to keeping the store in the community and the region. 

We still have Outlet fabrics:  Upstairs outlet (drapery) fabric is $1 a yard and in the basement the drapery fabric is by the bolt and it is 75% off. Come and clean us out!

Charm Club: 

Charm Club will meet on August 12th.  If interested in shopping, we share a code for you to get 20% off your one time purchase the week of the club. Code is told during the FB Live.  We are working on our free project for the month.  Check us out on Facebook. “Anderson Fabrics Outlet and Quilt Shop”.  Come and join the fun.  

For those coming to the shop for club at 6PM; we are doing a Pink Fat quarter drawing this month.  Bring a fat quarter in the pink tones and put your name in the pot, one lucky winner will get them all.    Watch our Facebook page for updates! We have been making new kits for the store, We post those on Facebook, but not everyone sees them on Facebook so here they are: 

We are still working on some quilt kits, they will be ready next week:  

This is a new quilt kit in the works called Circling Stars.  Batik fabrics designed by Dr. Karen Nyberg, an engineer, astronaut, and artist. This is just a teaser, watch for the completed quilt on Club night.  From our Customers:  

Wendy brought in a small quilt that she is calling a “Sassy” Quilt to use for kids or babies  size is 1 yard. She used leftover 5” squares bordered with 2 ½” strips and 3”strips.  She says they don’t always love big quilts for kids, so this is what she is making.  Fun!

Charlotte and Clare went to this Quilt Show last year, it was wonderful.  If you need something to do on the Saturday of Labor day weekend, we recommend you consider going to this quilt show. You won’t regret it.
