A Note From the Shop

We've had a bit of a cold snap in January. As is usually expected, but this year has been a long cold blustery month. That being said, its a great time to be quilting!

We are gearing up for this year's ALL MINNESOTA SHOP HOP. Magazines should arrive mid to late February. The Magazines are your passport to the Shop Hop and contain the map of all participating shops and exclusive patterns designed by Minnesota shops. Magazines are $13.95 You can pre-order online or in the shop, and we will save your magazine for you.

Dates for the shop hop are April and May 2026.

Block Exchange -

We presented another block exchange idea in January. Anyone can participate and get a chance to win the blocks. It is a two color block. White on white and another color of your choice. Look for the pattern at the end of the newsletter. We will collect and draw for a winner in March.

Decorator Fabric

We’ve added a lot of new decorator fabric in the middle room and the backroom.

We have a lot of wool, silk and extra wide decorator fabric

Prices start at $2 a yard.

We would love to offer classes. If you have something you would like to try, let us know.

Sock class - Saturday January 31st. You will be making socks using a Sock Knitting Machine provided by the instructor.

You do not have to know how to knit to take this class!

Class Fee $20, Supplies extra.

Easy Rag Quilt class with Charlotte Saturday, Feb 7th 10-3

It makes a nice car blanket, baby blanket or doggie blanket.
